STANDARDS

  1. All Servers with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems must be running Windows 2019 Server or later, and have all of the latest Microsoft Service Packs and Critical Updates installed.
  2. All Desktop PC’s and Notebooks/Laptops with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems must be running Windows 10 Pro or later, and have all of the latest Microsoft Service Packs and Critical Updates installed.
  3. All Software must be Genuine, Licensed and Vendor-Supported.
  4. The environment must have a currently licensed, up-to-date and Vendor-Supported Managed Antivirus Solution protecting all Servers, Desktops, Notebooks/Laptops and other computing devices.
  5. The environment must have a currently licensed, Vendor-Supported Managed Backup Solution that can be monitored, and send notifications on job failures and successes.
  6. The environment must have a currently licensed, Vendor-Supported Managed Hardware Firewall between the Internal Network and the Internet.
  7. All Wireless data traffic in the environment must be securely encrypted.
  8. All Equipment must be no older than five (5) years.
  9. All Equipment must have an active support/maintenance agreement with its vendor.
  10. All Line of Business applications must have an active support agreement with their vendor.
  11. The Operating System (OS) on any/all End-User computer and/or system must be loaded from a solid-state drive (SSD) or other similar technology (i.e. not from a traditional spinning hard drive).
